WordPressメンテナンスしているとsite healthで様々な情報を提供してくれる。今回は表示速度が遅いので改善案が提供されていた。RedisのインストールとpluginのRedis Object Cacheそれから W3 total cacheを追加した。domestic onlyのサイトなのでさしてアクセスされているサイトではないが、学びとしてインストールした。
# dnf install redis
# sysytemctl enble redis
# sysytemctl start redis
# redis-server –version
Redis server v=5.0.3 sha=00000000:0 malloc=jemalloc-5.1.0 bits=64 build=14b81d825631ff0c
次にWordpressのplugin Redis Object Cacheを追加してsettingでenable。W3 total cacheのpluginを追加してpage cacheを保存。メモリでキャッシュするので速いらしい。W3 total cacheも表示速度を向上させるらしいが様々な付加機能があり未消化。pluginを追加するたびにsecurity holeが増えて行きそうで気になる今日この頃。
